Are all airlines using the bait and switch business model?
Delta NY to Denver. $262 round trip on the red eye. Want to take any bag, carry on, checked, doesn't matter… It is now $700+ round trip.
I go empty handed. I buy what I need, then throw it out when I leave. It isn't worth $100. I bring nothing. A sandwich bag with my prescriptions in my pocket. A comb and toothbrush in another. If it doesn't fit in my pockets, it doesn't travel. Not environmentally good, but this is what air travel has come to. If you told me this 5 years ago, I would have laughed at you.
Delta does not charge for carry-on luggage. This is either ignorance or a troll.
My dad travelled in a similar manner for years. If even wore old clothes to destination and discarded them when dirty and returned with the new stuff he needed to buy somewhere.
Suggest you try another Airline there are cheaper fares if that is your objective.
- Is the 1 card which allows you to collect all airmiles from different airlines? UK? Very new to the whole airmiles points however I take a lot of journeys from England to New Zealand and wondered if I could collect the points and maybe spend it on first class which would be great. Is there one credit card that collects airmiles for every airline. Or do you have to collect air miles from separate airlines and spend them on the same airline?
- Is there going to be a disruptive model in airline industry in the near future 2 or 3 years from.now? There's a talk about supersonic airliners hypersonic electric planes Will airplanes look different in the near future 2023 Like Japan airlines invested in supersonic planes will Japan airlines no longer have boeing 787 dreamliner or any widebody aircraft will 737 or airbus a320 neo fleet be out of production due to electric airliners
- If I switch flights, will I be exempted from the US ban for laptops? So what if I go from Dubai International airport(Banned) to France international airport(Not Banned) and then from there to the US. Will I be allowed to have my laptop with me?
- First time booking through trip.com and my flights are with Scoot and Cebu Pacific Airlines. I'm unsure where I can checkin and put add ons? Is there an option to check in and add some add ons through trip.com or directly with Scoot and Ceb Pac? However, I tried managing my bookings separately on their respective websites but they both say they can't find my booking or whatever… My flight is still in a month but I d like to worry about it now than when it's nearer and I doubt they won't appear there because I've had flights before that I was able to add to my manage bookings months ahead.
