Is flying about to get worse?

Because i have been hearing stories about planes are going to crash more due to pilot shortage

There are stories i keep hearing we're going to have inexperienced pilots due to pilot shortage. Is it true that air traffic controllers is going to change

Since i hear stories about trump plans to have a private air traffic control system does that mean more planes will crash due to private air traffic control system

I know i want everyone to be safe including my family and friends

Will private air traffic control in the airline industry mean more planes will crash

It is highly unlikely that you have anything to worry about.

If you are this anxiety-ridden all the time, you should seek professional help.

I have not heard of any pilot shortage in the US. There are many people, including former Air Force pilots, ready to move into any positions that should open.

The President has indeed suggested having a private company run the air traffic control system, but it is nothing more than an idea and is highly unlikely to happen, particularly since Congress, which would have to approve the change, seems uninterested.

No, certainly not on any major airline in the USA or Europe. One might potentially worry about flying on regional airlines where there are a lot of pilots with minimal experience, and you should be concerned about flying in Asia where they have a severe shortage of competent, experienced flight crews. But overall, whatever "stories" you've heard are utter tripe.

That logic is illogical. Even today's best pilot was "inexperienced" at one time.

There are plenty of people in our government who understand that a failed real estate salesman doesn't qualify as a air travel safety expert.

Pilot shortage is not an issue
Privatization of air traffic controllers is something else again
