Can I bring food I buy on the other side of security onto an airplane?

Basically I'm flying into Atlanta airport from Guatemala and there's a Chic Fil A restaurant in the airport. Now it's been 4 months since I've eaten fast food and would love to get me some chic fil a, however I don't have much time (it's a layover), would I be able to bring it onto the plane? I know I was able to bring a Starbucks Coffee onto the plane when I bought it in the terminal once I was through security so would this be the same? This is a very important matter to me

Yes, in most cases you can bring food onto a plane.

Everything you buy on the secure side can be taken onto a plane.

Try to avoid food that has strong odors or messy sauces. Be sure to pick up several napkins, too.

Short answer - Yes, anything purchased post-security can be taken on the plane.

Longer Answer - Depending on how long your layover is, what concourse you are flying out of and how long it takes you to go through customs/immigration you may not have time to do this. There are only 2 CFA's one in Concourse A and in C. You want to be sure you are at your next flight at least 30 minutes before departure as that is when they start to board.

Yes, you can bring food that you buy in the airport onto the plane. You can even bring food from home onto the plane, as long as it doesn't violate any security rules (like liquid/gel foods). Food from Chick-Fil-A won't be a problem.

Of course you can bring your own food on the plane.
