Did you bring dildo in your checked baggage when you travel internationally before? What's your story in the airport?
I know this is some sort of a weird and personal question, but I'm wondering if I can bring 7 inch dildo. Lol! Please don't judge?
I just wanted to know if this would cause someone to ask me to open my luggage. I'm travelling to Singapore and US
Don't have one but enjoy your trip.
They are legal. It is a real good idea to remove batteries.
Bags that are shaking or making noises get additional checks by security. They have seen them before. The consequences to you depend on place and the situation of the specific incident. It can be just turned off.
Removed and destroyed.
Your bag might be held for additions checks to see if some other thing might also be there.
You might miss your flight while they do this check.
When dealing with checked bags. Security will open it if they want too.
They can also ask you to open it if you are present.
SECURITY AGENTS are human and have the same bedroom toys as everyone else.
They have seen them before.
Your checked baggage is not screened in your presence, you check it in, it gets on the conveyor belt and is screened elsewhere, so you would not be there to open it. But it's not illegal to pack dildos.
There may be restrictions on the possession of sex related toys in some very conservative countries - especially I expect the Muslim ones. Just be careful and know what you are doing.
I can speak for the US There's nothing wrong with bringing along a PED (Personal Entertainment Deviceā¦ Yes, this is an official term) on a trip.
I've seen these things by the hundreds (you are only one out of many.) Most (if not all) checked baggage screening is done out of public view.
Passengers who bring these devices in carry-on may ask for a private screening should their carry-on be selected for inspection. (The inspection is done out of public view.)
- How does checked-in baggage work with layover/multiple airlines? Will be flying to Romania. I start with Iberia Airlines and layover in Barcelona for about 2 hrs. Then I fly to Bucharest with Blue Air. Normally when flying with layovers, it's one airline so I know it's forwarded to my final destination. But this is my first itinerary where I switch airlines at my layover; would that mean my baggage is forwarded to Blue Air anyways, or do I need to pick it up and check it in a second time?
- Can a 17 year old bring cigarettes in their carry on it checked luggage? I'm 17 flying from Cyprus to England with ryanair, I have cigarettes and don't know if I'm allowed to pack them or leave them here?
- Traveling through JFK airport with a firearm in my checked baggage? I'm flying out of JFK with a handgun in my checked bag, or at least I think I will once I hear y'all responses. I have heard horror stories about people getting arrested at the airport for not having a NYC permit. I DO NOT have an NYC permit, I live in PA and have my PA and FL Permit, only traveling through JFK airport, not staying in NYC. Does anyone have any expertise or experience doing this.
- United airlines baggage charge, will i be denied checked baggage? I recently booked an international flight from Edinburgh to Newark, without realising there's a 60 dollar baggage charge for each way, i'm happy to pay this upon checking in My concern is that at the airport they may possibly tell me there isn't room for my suitcase, has this ever been the case before? I can't even call the airline due to all their offices being based in the US
