Is christmas time airfare expensive because there's a lot of people traveling during the holidays and are summer air fares cheaper?
Because my uncle in california says if i go reno nevada for christmas i can't go see my family because sometimes people have holiday plans
He said you go in summers because people are in town
Because everytime i go to reno my family and everyone is in town my my uncle my mom's sister's husband in detroit said to me if i go to reno in the summer i will not go in christmas he said it will to too early to go again in christmas because a lot of people are traveling during the holidaya
For example i looked at southwest airlines ticket from denver to las vegas for 2 adults like me and my mom also tickets were costing a thousand dollars on southwest airlines
Well obviously there are many travelling over the Christmas and New Years period and prices are often higher due to this being a peak period. In other words unless you book a long way in advance, like 6+ months.
Yes, Christmas time airfares ARE expensive because there ARE a lot of people traveling, especially to warm places like Reno. I don't understand the rest of your message- you could try using some punctuation.
Tickets always cost more during popular travel times. Summer travel might be cheaper, but it depends on the destination - popular summer destinations will still have high fares in the summer.
Booking in advance (6-10 weeks, more if traveling during a popular time) can help you find a better fare. So can being flexible with your travel dates and your airports, if possible.
Christmas holiday planning
Book well in advance but fares are always more expensive during periods of high demand
- In 1947 an USA Air Force plane flew from America to Europe completely by autopilot. There were no computers at the time. How was it done? The plane took off from America, flew over the ocean, arrived in Europe and landed on a British airport completely under control of the automatic pilot. No man interfered; the autopilot took all the decisions and did everything by itself. I would have thought this impossible without a computer AI to control the plane. Anyone can explain how did that autopilot work?
- If companies stopped making supersonic planes like the concorde because it was too noisy expensive why are they bringing them back? Companies like nasa lockheed martin are working on supersonic air travel And colorado company boom is developing a 55 seater plane So if companies are working on supersonic travel does that mean airlines will have to cancel their boeing 787 dreamliner or airbus A350 orders or any widebody orders due to supersonic travel
- Has it ever happened where an arriving plane had to take off immediately because there was no parking space at airport? Is it mandatory that all arriving planes have a parking space available? What IF it were to happen? What would be the solution?
- Can Air Koryo join One World if North Korea and South Korea get united and Air Koryo buys more Airbus or Boeing planes? Korea already has Star Alliance (Asiana) and Skyteam (Korean Air) airlines. If Kim jong un dies and these two Korea become one Korea, can Air Koryo join One World after buying more newer planes like the A320 or 737?
