I'm going to Mexico soon from the US. How do I get past airport security with edibles on me without being stopped?

You don't get pass airport security. But I have never had problems with edibles as they don't care that much about them.

You can't carry them in your hand luggage.

They have to go on your checked luggage.

EAT THEM before you go through.

The hard part may be getting past immigration and customs when you arrive.
The Mexican airports are much more likely to have drug sniffing dogs in the arrivals area.

You WILL NOT get past those, no matter how many layers f plastic you wrap around your goodies.

Getting caught importing drugs into Mexico could end up being a <<very>> bad experience.

EDIT: A dog's sense of smell is thousands of times better than ours. Drug dogs have found drugs buried in piles of cow manure.
If you want to take a chance on the Mexican justice system and Mexican jails, then go ahead and take your edibles.
If you are intelligent and rational, you will leave them home.
If you are caught, then the responsibility for all consequences are totally on you.

The US TSA is the least of your issues.
Bringing edibles into Mexico will likely get you jail time there.
