Can I take like 18 Mc'Chickens through southwest airport security?

I don't know if these is a McDonald's in the airport and I need like 18 spicy Mc'Chickens. It's the airport in Arizona flying southwest. Also if you know if there's a McDonald's in there that would be great.

There's no limit on taking food, as long as your carry on luggage doesn't exceed the limits set by the airline. You can google the airport (there are several in Arizona, and I don't know which one you're talking about) and get lists of the food vendors there. But you can also bring it in from outside vendors.

You can bring solid food through airport security. Just be considerate to your fellow passengers and don't bring smelly food.

Also, just so that you know, Southwest, or any other airline, does not provide airport security. Transportation Security Administration, an agency of federal government, is responsible for providing airport passenger screening.

You can take food through TSA security. Liquids and gels must be in a 1 quart size clear plastic bag and each item is 100ml 3.4 ounce maximum containers. The dipping sauce technically is a gel and should be in the plastic bag. They could excuse it.
For the plane, you can bring food and drinks to eat while on the plane. They allow you to bring meal and snacks. Large food items may be called carry on baggage and is limited.
A bag of 18 mcnuggets is not a problem to bring on the plane.

So, no issue other than dipping sauce that should be in your one 1-qt plastic for all gels and liquids.

Southwest on most flights only gives pretzels for free plus non-alcoholic beverages.
Be sure to ask for a full can rather than only a small cup.

Phoenix Sky Harbor does have a McDonald's in Terminal 4 Gate B20 area. There are 4 different terminals at this large airport.
Tucson International airport does not have McDonalds at the airport.

Prices are much higher at an airport.

Why on earth would you want to take Mc Chickens on a plane with you.

Take them through - though they should not be emitting smells, else there could be a problem.

They might not all make it out of the x-ray

If you smuggle them in your ****

Cooked foods like McDonald's chicken nuggets is allowable. Keep it stowed in your carry-on when submitting it through x-ray. See link.

Tell us what you're taking. You say it's "like" 18 nuggets.

NO. You must buy them right before you board the plane.
