How can i recheck my baggage back in at schiphol airport when on a layover?

Hi. I'm going to fly to colombia from the uk. I have a connecting flight in Amsterdam. I will be in amsterdam for more than 10 hours and i do not plan to leave the airport. I will take hold baggage with me to check in. I want to retrieve my bag at schiphol airport so i can have a change of cloths. How would i recheck my baggage back in so it can fly to colombia. My flight will be early the next day. And to be honest i'm a little scared that my baggage will get lost. I'm also flying with KLM

Call KLM and ask them, they can tell you best if and how that's possible.

If your hold luggage is labelled for onward transit, it will remain in the system at Schipol and you won't be able to retrieve the contents. You need to contact your airline so that you and your luggage are ticketed for two separate flights. It might cost you more. You then go through passport control, retrieve your hold luggage in the normal way and go through customs. If you don't want to be stuck with your luggage for the rest of the 10 hours, there's a left luggage desk at Schipol. You can check it back in again 3 hours before your next flight.

Your luggage will be checked in until your final destination, you will not be able to retrieve your luggage.
Take a change of clothes in your carry on bag.

You can't.
Your baggage will be checked from your departure city to your destination.
If you need a change of clothes, you bring it in your hand luggage.

Clothes, not cloths. Different thing totally.

Take x2 bags or put it in a carry bag

If you booked this as a single itinerary, then you will not be able to retrieve your checked/hold luggage at your layover. It will be tagged to your final destination and you will not have access to it until you arrive there. Take your clothes in your carry-on bag.

You can't retrieve checked baggage until you clear customs at any point on your itinerary.
My advice is to put a change of clothes in your cabin baggage.
PS… I work for an airline…
