Eithad airways baggage issue?

Before 31st man 2018 the eithad airways baggage rules were that 2 pieces of checked luggage was to be taken both pieces not exceeding 23kg.

I've had a look on the website again:
http://www.etihad.com/en-gb/before-you-fly/baggage-information/allowances/

And from the site i understand that a passenger can take one piece of checked luggage not exceeding 30kg.(not sure if this is correct tho)

So what I would like to know is that is it allowed for a passenger to take ONE PIECE of checked luggage not exceeding 30kg OR does the TWO piece checked luggage both not weighing 23kg still apply.

Just need some clarification just to make sure.

I would appreciate if anyone could answer my question thanks.

The Airline can change their rules at any time.
Every possible flight does not have to have exactly the same rules.
Every possible ticket fare does not have to allow the same.
The different planes the Airlines uses can be changed at any time. Different planes just have different space.
The Airline has HUMANS you can call.

The computer says… Is what the computer web site says.

WHY do you seek the opinion of people that might not really know when you could just ask the AIRLINE staff yourself.

From 31 January 2018, we have made some changes to our global baggage allowance.
YOU ARE CORRECT THEY CHANGED WHAT IS ALLOWED.

What they did in 2017 is HISTORY and does not matter anymore.

It does matter WHERE you fly to and from. The allowed amounts are not the same. They do not have to be.
The Airplanes only have a certain space for luggage and freight like the mail.
The Airline sets aside a space for the passenger luggage and some space for other stuff.
The Airplane is not your FREE moving service. Everything in the plane costs money to move from one place to the next.

Your ticket for a seat includes SOME AMOUNT for luggage. If want more weight more space you pay more to use it and haul it around the planet.

The rules for tickets PURCHASED in 2017 or before January 31 2018 are not the same for tickets PURCHASED in 2018 in February or March. And are very clearly listed for the different destinations.

Shall I guess when you purchased ticket?

The NEW rules apply to NEW tickets. The old rules apply to old tickets. WHICH ONE DO YOU HAVE.
