How soon will the Airports start using these electronic powered airplanes. This will greatly reduce the air polution from Gas powered planes?

The range is about 650 miles, or about San Francisco to LA and then it needs charging. And it's only 9 passengers. I saw an experimental unmanned drone being groomed as an air taxi, just yesterday, and it flies 35 minutes. It's all good but they won't be flying from LA to London anytime soon.
- Do air traffic controllers notify other airports when a flight arrives? For example, suppose that a Delta flight from Atlanta arrives without incident at Detroit. Would Detroit's ATC have to notify Atlanta's ATC of this? Or would this be a matter for the airline's operations department?

I know that the best way to get the best value out of them is to Transfer them to loyalty program for an airline. So I've been wanting to travel from LAX to Lebanon. However, I just feel like I'm not getting the best value after checking the net ammount of points needed to travel through etihad airlines. I was wondering if there's another option I can look at.
