British Airways menu?
I can't seem to find an exact menu online for British Airways. I'm reading we will get a complementary 4 course meal on board that changes every 6 months. Anyone know what the currently menu is? We're leaving next week. We're taking an 8 hour flight out of the USA leaving at 8pm and arriving in London at 10am
You should have a choice between two entrees. One is usually pasta and one chicken. Both are pretty tasteless. You can go online before the flight- usually at least 48 hours- look at your reservation and look for a link to Special Requests. You can put in a request for a vegetarian meal or low fat- there should be several choices. Unless you're in first class, the food will be pretty awful. I always carry a bag of mixed nuts to have if the food is inedible.
BTW, the four courses come all at once- a tray with a little salad, an aluminum container with your entree, a little wedge of cheese, a roll, and a container with some kind of dessert- fruit, or a brownie or something.
You mean 'complimentary', not 'complementary'.
They don't advise menus ahead of time. Only alternate options gives you something that's more 'made to order' (plus you get your meal a bit in advance of everyone else). The rest is as Gypsyfish mentioned.
They change it frequently and not publishing what it is saves them having to keep changing the web site. It also depends on where from and to, what time of day, and which direction you're going so you don't get the same meal on the way home.
So all I can say is you will get a 4 course dinner, consisting of a starter, main course (2 choices and they will ask you which you want), dessert, and cheese and crackers. Both choices will be meat or fish based - if you want vegetarian, tell them that in advance.
And assuming they're still doing the same as they did ten years ago, you will get a cooked breakfast before landing. BA would love to show off a traditional full English breakfast but this is impossible as you can't reheat fried eggs, so they'll do an omelette instead. Unfortunately I suspect a hot breakfast is unlikely these days. But you'll get something suitable for breakfast time.
What ever is cheapest that is made on contract for the airline. Don't think of it as food. Just on long flights some get grumpy on a empty stomach. So they have this paper & rag mix flavored food that quits the stomach on flights.
There are actually dozens of different menus because it depends on where you're flying out of and what food service they're using for that airport.
Due to this, very few airlines publish menus with the exception of buy onboard items which usually stay the same on every flight
This depends on which airport you are flying out of, as the US is a large country with different food services. I've flown British Airways several times, and in economy class, you would generally get the choice of either an Indian meal generally containing chicken or pasta/lasagna or some Italian food of such matter. However, I haven't flown British Airways out of every airport in the states, or flown in First/Business classes either, so it would all depend. Anyway, good luck!

- 30 inches 75 X 47 X 26 CM will that pass British Airways luggage? I be going away for a 2 week holiday to San Diego, California will a 30" 75 X 47 X 26 CM sized suitcase be ok to take to British airways?
- Does British Airways Food Choices? Does British Airways offer you a choice of food for their standard meals while you are on the plane? Not the diet specific or up charged meals. This would be for a long haul international flight.
- Which airline is best to work as a flight attendant in? Qatar Airways or Kuwait Airways? So I got accepted in both and I can't makeup my decision, I'm gonna work as a cabin crew in one of them, which airline is more flexible and offers the best salary? I don't know about Qatar but Kuwait Airways salary as a cabin crew is 2.55k tax free including a furnished apartment and it goes up depending on flying hours. Anyone can help?
- Do you think British accents are annoying? My dad loves British accents. He is like literally obsessed with it to the point of going to London heathrow Airport just to hear the people's accents there which I think is a little odd. Meanwhile my mom hates it and thinks British accents are annoying. So what are your thoughts on this?
