TRAVELLING ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME?

So i decided to travel alone this year for the very first time ever?!

I really don't know how it all works, so i will book my flight online on the easyjet app.
After that what are the steps?
Checking in?
All the departure steps of the airport does it differ and how do i get through it?!

I'm from the UK and traveling to Turkey, do i need a visa and if so how?
Also, should I exchange money beforehand?

Maybe Turkey isn't the best destination for someone travelling alone for the first time. Why not choose somewhere in Europe, where you'll feel a little more at home and won't need a visa? Greece, for example, or Italy?

Google the requirements for travel to Turkey. It will tell whether you need a visa. Otherwise, there's not much you need to know. Get to the airport 2 hours ahead of your flight. Find the check in desk for your airline to check your bags. Follow the signs. If you get confused, ask an airline employee- they're very helpful.

  • First time flyer tips? In a couple months, I'll be taking a 5 hour flight to MA, but I've never ever been on a plane. I've never even been in an airport. I'm trying to get as much information as possible so that I don't humiliate myself and/or do something just plain stupid. Any tipa would be greatly appreciated!
  • Plane ticket has first, middle and last name but my passport only has first and last name? I'm flying Scandinavian Airlines and my plane ticket has my first, middle, and last name but my passport only has my first and last name. Does anyone have any experience with this or think it will be an issue? I called the travel agency and they told me they could not do anything to correct the middle name. I was also thinking about bringing another form of ID like a birth certificate or social security card to be safe.
  • First time flying with stops? So is Christmas season and I'm traveling from the US to Mexico for the holidays, I have already flying from point A to point B but I never have from point A to point B and C ( or city stops) so I'm nervous. How early have to be on the airport? Is one hour enough to switch from one plane to other? How long can it take on immigration and still have to take the second plane?
  • Advice for first time flight alone? I'm 18 and although a frequent flyer I'm about to fly alone for the first time ever and to make it worse the flight is 15 hours the longest I've ever done before is 11 with family what can I do since I won't know anyone? And any advice for getting through the airport without panicking
