Is the Sleeping in Airports site still popular?
There's a site called "sleepinginairports.com". Have you heard of it? Has it become more popular or less popular recently?
It's a useful site if you plan to stay overnight in an airport, but the popularity seems to stay fairly constant over the years.
You can look up the statistics for yourself on many sites.
- Is shoes off at airport getting less popular? When was the last time you were asked to remove normal trainers when travelling in Europe? Hasn't happened in years, boots is understandable but simple sneakers?
- Can I still become an airline pilot? So, I'm 5ft and I wear glasses, but my prescription is very low, as in +0.25 and +0.5. I was told to be a pilot you need to be 5ft 2 at least, and you need perfect vision. Is this true?
- Why do pilots still go to bathroom without having flight attendant in the cockpit? Hi. I thought a flight attendant should go into the cockpit when one of the pilots go to the bathroom because of what the German wing first officer pilot did to the airbus plane. But I was surprised when I saw an Air France A318 pilot getting out of the cockpit and going to the bathroom without having a second person in the cockpit when I was traveling from Paris to Geneva two months ago. Isn't it very dangerous? I thought the rules were changed after that German wings incident?
- What is the best site to buy plane tickets online? I want to book a flight for a one off trip, I googled my city to my destination and I saw listings from around $175 (spirit airlines) up to $500 (United and other airlines). What are the reasons for such a price gap in airline tickets? Is this accurate? What should I be expecting to pay from Chicago to Texas and what site do you recommend?
