Need to leave my car for a few days?
I'm planning a trip to Chicago and plan to drive there. While I'm there I won't be needing my car, but the fee at the hotel I'm staying at is really high. I searched for long term parking online, but the only thing that comes up is airport parking. Can I park using airport parking without actually flying? If not, where could I leave my car for a few days?
I think you usually can if you park in the back
Airport parking is good, or why not leave your car at home?
It shouldn't be a problem to park at the airport. They have no way of knowing that you aren't flying, and they probably don't care.
The airport would not care if you are flying, as long as you pay.
No need to fly to use airport long term parking especially offsite. You might also consider finding cheaper parking in a suburb where the train takes you in to Chicago near where you want to be.
Yes, you can park near O'Hare whether you are flying or not.
There are several private parking places near the airport that charge about $5/day. For a list of them, use your browser and search for "O'Hare airport parking."
- What's the best car route to JFK Airport from western New Jersey I-78, during evening rush hour? I'm flying out of JFK in a couple weeks. I will have my car, with reserved parking already lined up. I will be coming from the west on interstate 78. Should I try to avoid Manhattan and head south and go around via Staten Island? How much time should I allow? My flight is not until late, so I've got all day.
- Can i leave the US airport during a layover? Am traveling on Tuesday and i have a layover in the USA. I have a Canadian passport. (Canadian citizen) so ca i leave the airport to go sight seeing for a while or I can't?
- What Do people who come to the airport with their own private car do to their Car when it's time to board the plane? Do they ship the car? Do they ship it to wherever they are going or what And if it remains in the parking lot then what car do they use to get to their destination after the plane lands at their destination
- Is becoming a regional airline pilot one of the few great jobs that you can have without a college degree? Many regional airlines don't require college degrees. Is becoming an E-170 or CRJ700 captain much better than working as a bus driver or a carpenter? You think sleeping at Motel 6s or Motel 8s and drinking that free coffee is bad? It would be a very nice treat for bus drivers or people with other jobs that they could find with no degree. I would be honored to sleep at Motel 6 or Motel 8 for free. At least it is much better than hostel or Airbnb.
