What Do people who come to the airport with their own private car do to their Car when it's time to board the plane? Do they ship the car?
Do they ship it to wherever they are going or what
Added (1). And if it remains in the parking lot then what car do they use to get to their destination after the plane lands at their destination
They park it in the parking lot
It remains in the parking lot.
If they plan to come back, they park the car for the duration of their trip. If they're moving entirely, they either hire someone to drive the car to the place they're moving, or they sell it. It's very expensive to ship a car overseas.
They park it in the long term parking section.
You don't get out of the house much do you? The car gets on a plane of their own and fly down there. People rent cars, take taxis, uber, lyft, trains.
If you were born at night, it surely had to be last night.
There are long term parking lots near the airport where people can leave their cars for several days or weeks. These airports usually have shuttle buses to take passengers to the terminals. At JFK the Long Term Parking lots have the Air Train station for a free transfer to the airport.
They park their car when they arrive at the airport. If they wait to decide what to do with it until it's time to board the plane, they will miss the plane.
Then they fly to their destination and rent a car, or hire a taxi, or take a bus.
Depends on how long I'll be gone (less then 2 weeks the car stasys in long term parking) over 2 weeks I have siomeone drop me at the airport
The people park their cars in car lots until they return.
Presuming you're returning to the same airport when you come back, you simply park the car in "long term" parking. Then you pick up your car when you come back, pay the fee for parking, and leave with your car.
- How can I meet with people at the airport when I'm in security and they are not? I'm flying from Salt Lake City to Melbourne Australia. I will have a three hour layover at LAX. I hope to meet my brother and sister and possibly other relatives. The problem is I will have to step out of security and then go through security a second time. I'm going to a foreign county. Is this going to be complicated? Any comments? Suggestions?
- Why do some people who book Frontier wait till they get to the airport to pay for checkin luggage when it's more than when you pay online? Like you have a small fee online. If you wait till you're at the airport it's a bigger fee. Are these people irrational?
- Does snus (tobacco) come up on an airport baggage scan? I'm under 18 and had snus tobacco in my backpack about a month ago. There's a small black stain from the little packet it comes in on the backpack. I've cleaned it, but it only faded slightly. Will this show up as traces of drugs or something on a baggage scan?
- Why does a green box always show up on my private part when I'm scanned at the airport? Literally whenever I go to the airport and I go through the full body scanner I look at the screen that shows the outline of a body and a green box always shows up in my hoo-ha region. At first I thought it could've been the buttons on my skirt but regardless of buttons it always shows up. No one else I see go through has that. Is there a reason? It's getting really annoying lol
