Why do some people who book Frontier wait till they get to the airport to pay for checkin luggage when it's more than when you pay online?
Like you have a small fee online. If you wait till you're at the airport it's a bigger fee. Are these people irrational?
They could simply be uninformed, or unprepared to commit to a particular number of bags when buying their tickets online. You see? Just because you don't know their reasons doesn't mean they're irrational.
Maybe they weren't sure, at the time they booked, how much luggage they were going to take.
They didn't read the fine print…
It could be a lot of things.
It could be they weren't sure if they'd have checked bags.
It could be they didn't have the extra money when they booked
It could be they didn't read the terms of the ticket.
It could be someone else bought the ticket for them.
It could be that they were intentionally playing. Stupid and hope someone felt sorry for them and they got a free fee

- Why are airline sales prices more expensive coming home than going to an destination? Its more expensive to come home from vacation than traveling to a destination with airlines why is that so
- Why don't airlines charge for people's weight, the same way they charge for the luggage's weight? The cost for adding a few punds to your luggage is robbery. I'm at least 40 lbs lighter than the average American. Why can't they give me a discount considering that I probably cost less fuel than most people?
- I checked in more luggage for my flight than I will end up bringing. Is this a problem? I'm 16 and tomorrow I'm flying for the first time. As I'm going for a longer period of time when I was reserving my ticket (through WizzAir) I checked in extra luggage with the already provided free one - basically I checked in 1 extra cabin luggage + a small bag. However, it turned out that I will be bringing less than that after all. Will this be a problem at the airport check in? Should I let them know I'm not bringing any luggage on the cabin?
