Can you take a Vape through the TSA?

My family is going on a trip to florida and i want to bring my Vape. I will probably want to vape at the airport before my flight so i can't put it in my checked bag. Can i bring my Vape through security or will they think it is a weapon or something and take it?

Pretty sure you can't? I don't know

"Vaping" is treated the same as smoking at public airports… You Can't use your drug delivery system indoors in ANY public building. If you need to suck GARBAGE into your lungs, do it where others are not exposed to the residue.

You can, see e.g. The link. Note that you can't charge it in the plane and it would be advised to empty it of fluid in case of leaks. And don't put any batteries in the hold luggage and keep the batteries separate so they can't discharge or short circuit. And check if you can vape at the airport.

Yeah but not before they give you your coolest guy in the universe badge to wear on the flight.

You can't vape in the airport.
You MUST carry your vape in your carry-on luggage, not your checked luggage.
If you have to gate check your bag, you MUST take out the vape.
All liquids must be in 3 oz containers, in ONE ziplock bag.

#1) every rule that applies to cigarettes applies to vapes except that you can only bring liquids of 3oz so any of your flavors need to be under 3oz. And you can't use your vape pipe inside the airport

Seen these by the bunches. You can place it in checked baggage, just remove the battery to prevent a fire hazard.

Overall it is recommended that you keep this in carry-on. See link.

Yes you can bring it on, carry on bags not checked bags. Make sure battery is turned off, etc
