Is it normal for airline departure time to keep changing?
Me and my family purchase tickets from American Airlines for July 4. When we brought The tickets the departure time was suppose to be At 6:00am. It done change 3 times already now it's 7:10am. Is it normal for the time to keep changing?
Unfortunately yes. Airlines are very unreliable. The last several times I've traveled, none of my planes have taken off or landed on time. In fact, the last two trips I made I got to spend the night in a strange city because of the airlines moving or canceling flights.
No. That's not normal. With the cancelled flights due to the 737 Max groundings I'm not surprised at this though.
YES IT HAPPENS.
You make an hour seem like months. There has been a massive reorganization of tens of thousands of itineraries due to the grounding of planes. This plane issue still affects thousands of passenger seats everyday.
It's not typical, but it does sometimes happen. I've had that happen twice, which is not a lot given how often I fly. I wouldn't be surprised if it's due to the current issues with the 737.
BOUGHT. Not 'brought'.
It happens all the time
- Can an airline change your flight time more than 24 hours? I've heard that airlines can change your flight time up until departure. Can they change your flight more than a day before or ater your original flight was scheduled as this can be an inconvenience.
- Do I have the right to change flights when the airline have changed the time? I booked flights for the summer and my return flight has changed time, and is now earlier. There's a stop over, which would now be a very long wait due to the first flight being earlier. Will I be allowed to change the second flight to a earlier one, so I don't have to wait so long? Also who do I change this with if I do, the company I bought the tickets from or the airline itself?
- Is it normal to be nervous when you are about to go on your first flight on a commercial airline by yourself? I've flown several times but Wednesday will be the first time I will have flown by myself. I'm a bit nervous. Not about the actual flying but just flying alone. I'm trying to look at it as adventure.
- Is $600 per direct roundtrip a normal price from Toronto to Seattle? I'm going to Seattle in July for 5 days and air Canada website quoted $620 direct flight from Toronto Pearson to SeaTac airport
