Does norwegian int airlines charge for checking in at the airport?
Hm
There's no cost to check in at the airport or to print a boarding pass at the airport. The fees for paying for checked baggage are higher if you wait until you get to the airport to do that.
No, they are just trying to encourage people to use the apps and the website as much as possible and try to cut down on people using the ticket counter so their agents are free to deal with things like double booked seats, canceled flights, missed connections etc as opposed to dealing with a line of 200 people who could be checking themselves in. Your going to see more of this in the future, what is really in the works is that when you get to the airport you going to start seeing dedicated lines at check in counters for online check ins where people can just go, scan their QR code from their phone, and give the agent their bags and head to security. Again Norwegians fee schedule is more or less there to encourage you to check yourself in.
No, there are no charges for airport check in, as mentioned you may have to pay for checked baggage if you plan to take a greater amount than your free allowance.
- Luggage airport checking? Do they check luggage in the second airport? I'm travelling From Morocco to Canada, will they check the luggage in both countries? I'm worried about that because I'm bringing Creatine supplement with me.
- Baggage rules for Aer Lingus, RyanAir, Transavia, Norwegian Airlines? Size limits, fees, and rules if applicable. (checked-in baggage, carry-on, personal item) For multi-city travel, what size bags would fit ALL the airlines' rules?
- People who have traveled with Norwegian airlines: do they weigh you personal item? On all the flights I've been on no one has ever weighed personal items i.e. Hangbag, backpack, etc. I thought the weight limit for he carry-on with a lowfare ticket was 10kg but apparently thats a combined weight with you handbag. Do they actually weigh both? Also my bag is 2cm over the size limit do you think theyll notice? your*
- Why don't airlines charge for people's weight, the same way they charge for the luggage's weight? The cost for adding a few punds to your luggage is robbery. I'm at least 40 lbs lighter than the average American. Why can't they give me a discount considering that I probably cost less fuel than most people?
