People who have traveled with Norwegian airlines: do they weigh you personal item?
On all the flights I've been on no one has ever weighed personal items i.e. Hangbag, backpack, etc. I thought the weight limit for he carry-on with a lowfare ticket was 10kg but apparently thats a combined weight with you handbag. Do they actually weigh both? Also my bag is 2cm over the size limit do you think theyll notice?

No. I haven't heard of any airlines weighing carry on or personal items yet. Generally they just check the size and that's it. Even the ultra discount carriers don't weigh yet
I have never had carry on weighed, but I wish they would do it, because some people have such heavy carry ons that they can hardly lift them into the overhead lockers.
Basically as it says on their website, they have a combined carry on weight limit, and sizes for bags, they won't pull out a measure, but for carry on luggage item they will use a size gauge, if it doesn't fit you can't take it or you'll need to pay excess checked luggage fees. I doubt 2cm is going to make a difference, have you factored external wheels?
- Why do some people who book Frontier wait till they get to the airport to pay for checkin luggage when it's more than when you pay online? Like you have a small fee online. If you wait till you're at the airport it's a bigger fee. Are these people irrational?
- Does a blanket count as a personal item on Delta airlines? I have a flight at midnight and want to bring a blanket with me on the flight since itll be 9 hours, but the blanket doesn't fit in my personal bag? Could i just bring it with me not in a bag? Specifically for delta.
- Baggage rules for Aer Lingus, RyanAir, Transavia, Norwegian Airlines? Size limits, fees, and rules if applicable. (checked-in baggage, carry-on, personal item) For multi-city travel, what size bags would fit ALL the airlines' rules?
- Does a duffle bag count as a carry on or personal item? And what are some things to bring to the airport when traveling without a passport? I'll be booking with American Airlines by the way and it will be my first time traveling.
