Buns up and squealing…

You're opening your self up for a scam here.

Yes, I can.

Just post your full name, address, date of birth, credit-card number (including security code) and PIN - and I'll send your tickets out this afternoon.

Of course not.

Zero to none.airline employees can't just buy tickets for anybody, and at New Years even now the deals are getting fewer. Just bite the bullet and book your own ticket.

Employees don't get discounts. They get what are called buddy passes which they can give to friends and family. Depending on how long they've worked for the airline, They may get from 10 to 40 passes a year. They probably get hit up 10 times a day for these passes.
But it's not unicorns and rainbows. These passes are only good for standby travel which means you only get to fly if there are open seats. You have to wait until all passengers board. Sometimes you'll get on the first try and sometimes you might wait 2, 3 or 10 flights before you get on one. The worst time is during holidays. There are horror stories of people beong stranded for days trying to get a seat.
Only actual airline employees might get passes. Normal airport workers do not get anything. Many employees who look like they work for the airline (baggage handlers, cabin cleaners and even ticket and gate agents) might be contract employees so they don't get travel benefits either.

Now why on earth would you expect perfect strangers to give you their perks?! Especially during the holidays?!

Some hotels used to have junkets where they flew a plane load into Vegas for three days or so and return $49.00. Check it out junketflights.com
