What are some good areas that are suburban like near the Newark airport in New Jersey?
My boyfriend recently got a job with Port Authority, but he lives 70 miles currently from the airport, now he's looking at apartments near the place, but not directly in Newark.
He basically wants something that's less that's less than a 40 mile drive, a good area.
My boyfriend and me are not from Jersey, so we have no idea what's a good area.
Look in the township of Woodbridge, NJ including the town of Metuchen. Very nice suburban areas not far from the airport.

- What's the best car route to JFK Airport from western New Jersey I-78, during evening rush hour? I'm flying out of JFK in a couple weeks. I will have my car, with reserved parking already lined up. I will be coming from the west on interstate 78. Should I try to avoid Manhattan and head south and go around via Staten Island? How much time should I allow? My flight is not until late, so I've got all day.
