Is the Budapest airport good to sleep in for 6 hours? Or should I just break down and get a hotel near the airport?
I have a late flight into the Budapest Airport landing at like 11:30 PM and my next flight isn't until 9:00 AM the next morning. Debating on whether or not to just book a hotel for the 6 hours.
If you are in the transit area, then it might be ok, for that amount of time, id look for a cheap hotel.
By the time you get to hotel check in get your room do what you do before sleep and then wake up to do your morning stuff then get back to Airport you have about 4-5 hours fo sleep.
Not really worth it. No guarantees the close hotels have a room. RESERVE ONE if you want one.
Store your luggage.
Luggage Storage Room Service is available at SkyCourt ground floor corridor, nearby H reception.
The find a place to nap.
You will not be in your hotel bed much before 1 and will be out of it shortly after 5
You can sleep in the terminal. The cleaning staff doing their various jobs do make noise.
Of course the concept of trying to get some sleep on your first flight or after you board second flight is impossible?
Shall we all guess if after your arrival you will spend an hour or two to clear customs or need to be at the Airport early for an International departure.
Flight might arrive late to further complicate it.
Your choice what you want to do. A few cups of coffee and walk to explore the Art work and displays passes the time.
There's actually a website dedicated to sleeping in airports complete with reviews and tips from people who have done it in the past. Budapest airport is here
You'll have to be outside the secure area to stay overnight. I'd probably go for one of the hotels given the time you have. There's a list on the website
Five to six hours of sleep is significant. Getting sleep and shower in before continuing your travels could make the whole trip so much easier for you. There's a hotel right at the airport.
- What are some good areas that are suburban like near the Newark airport in New Jersey? My boyfriend recently got a job with Port Authority, but he lives 70 miles currently from the airport, now he's looking at apartments near the place, but not directly in Newark. He basically wants something that's less that's less than a 40 mile drive, a good area. My boyfriend and me are not from Jersey, so we have no idea what's a good area.
- I will be arriving in the UK at the airport at the early hours of the morning. Is it ok to wait for 8 hours for when my coach leaves? My coach will leave the airport 8 hours after my plane lands at the airport. Is it ok to wait 8 hours in the airport for the coach?
- I'm going to London and then Paris. So I was wondering can I just do the VAT refund when I just arrive at the Paris airport (CDG)? B/c I know I'm just going to spent the most of in London and Paris its just going to be food/ cheap souvenirs. Also, for the reason that I did not account for how much time the VAT refund line may take and I already booked when my hotel car will pick me up to depart back home. Including, all the websites I checked they keep telling me that I should go do my VAT refund before I leave Europe. Therefore, it would to appreciated if I got an answer.
- Should I fly a plane just after a new cylinder was installed? Or get an instructor to do it, who has more experience with off-airport landings, Incase something should go wrong
