Can I change this with British airways? Booked flight using mine and my dads cards (with his permission)?
So the BA helpline is closed at the moment but I plan to ask them if I can change name of a cardholder on one of my receipts. Originally my dad paid for my full flight on his credit card and we ticked the box that someone else is paying for my flight. However later on I realised I wanted to fly at a earlier date and I changed my date of flying but paid the changing flight fee on MY OWN DEBIT CARD and I recall selecting the option that said that I was paying for this change when asked. However a few hours later I checked the receipt for the changed flight and it has MY DADS NAME AS THE CARDHOLDER rather than my name. I'm panicking as it shows the ending of my debit card number but has the wrong cardholder name as obviously its my debit card and not my dads. Do you think this is a huge issue and what could BA do to rectify this? I have not been able to sleep all night and I would like to get an idea of what other people think in the mean time whilst I'm waiting to call BA.
It still has my name as the passenger who is flying though.
No you can't the flight has been paid for that's why you have a receipt.
Nope
There's no need, British Airways do not ask for the card on checkin, it will show as fully paid, with you as the passenger. When you checkin you'll just use your booking reference to go online, at the airport you'll be asked for identification and that is used to retrieve the booking.
- 30 inches 75 X 47 X 26 CM will that pass British Airways luggage? I be going away for a 2 week holiday to San Diego, California will a 30" 75 X 47 X 26 CM sized suitcase be ok to take to British airways?
- British Airways menu? I can't seem to find an exact menu online for British Airways. I'm reading we will get a complementary 4 course meal on board that changes every 6 months. Anyone know what the currently menu is? We're leaving next week. We're taking an 8 hour flight out of the USA leaving at 8pm and arriving in London at 10am
- Does British Airways Food Choices? Does British Airways offer you a choice of food for their standard meals while you are on the plane? Not the diet specific or up charged meals. This would be for a long haul international flight.
- Can I book international flight with Japan airlines using a prepaid card? Upon browsing, Japan Airlines accepts Credit Card payments for international flight bookings. I don't have a credit card so I plan to get a prepaid card (mastercard) which says to work like a Credit Card, but it seems to me that it's like a Debit. Will it actually be accepted?
