It's a lot, but if you're young and vigorous enough, it's probably do-able.
Are you sure that the Empire State Building observatory is open at night?
BTW, there's not much to see in Bryant Park or Madison Square Park. They're small parks and you'll get through both of them in short order.
You can easily spend a whole day in some of these sites: Macy's, the museums,.
The itinerary looks a little ambitious.
You can easily drop the Bryant, Madison Square and Washington Square Parks. There isn't anything to see in Hells Kitchen to make it worth going out of your way. You can also drop the Public Library unless you're a fan of its architecture.
You don't say how you'll be getting around. I suggest walking, with a bus or subway ride to get from midtown to downtown or up to the museums. Washington Sq. Park can be part of your visit to Greenwich Village. I recommend the West Village rather than the East Village. If you go to Top of the Rock, the Empire State is redundant. Map out your routes before you get started. If you start at Times Sq., walk along 42nd St. To get to Grand Central. You'll pass Bryant Park and the library. On your downtown trip, walk up Broad Street from the Battery to Wall Street, and up Wall Street to Broadway and stop in Trinity Churchyard on your way to the 911 Museum.
Anticipate the possibility of bad weather. If it's going to be rainy or foggy, go to a museum instead of the Statue of Liberty or Top of the Rock.
Day three: add the Museum of the Native American and the Staten Island ferry.
Day 5: Drop the American Museum of Natural History but go to the Metropolitan Museum and the Guggenheim 300 yds apart. You can pay a nominal amount at the met.
You're doing the TotR and ESB on the same day?
And jmho but you might want to be careful what you schedule after you visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It is an extremely sobering place to visit. We found ourselves emotionally drained after visiting.
Depending on when you visit, you might want to book your attraction times and tickets now - SoL pedestal and crown tickets go fast and the TotR is timed entry…
- How many pilots will fly the Singapore- New York route? Hi. Singapore Airlines' A350-900URL will begin flying non-stop between New York and Singapore and it is a 19 hour long flight. Will it still have 4 pilots on board like other long haul flights or 5-6 pilots?
- I'm flying from idaho to Punta Cana, Dominica Republic. Can I effectively get my gun through New York Airport without getting hassled? We know that DR can get pretty sketchy sometimes and definitely want to bring my handgun. But New York obviously isn't fond of anything that starts with g and ends in uns. My overlay is there for a couple hours. Has anyone effectively got their checked bag with gun through without getting feds pulling you out of an airplane?
- How come multi-city destinations can't be booked as one itinerary, or can it? Tried Kayak and it qouldnt allow it to be one itinerary, ones throug Justfly and the other was American Airlines.
- Terminal number is no longer shown on my flight itinerary for a ticket purchased through COPA airlines I purchased a ticket through hotwire.com that was a copa airlines ticket, the terminal numbers were shown on the original itinerary but are no longer shown after the airline made changes to the flight schedule. The terminal numbers are neither shown on hotwires or COPAs version of my flight itinerary. Should I worry? my flight is in 9 days now by the way.
