How to become an airline pilot?
I want to become an airline pilot, do any of you know how to or the steps / process?
Yes. Contact Captain Sum Ting Wong. Tell him: "Wi Tu Lo. Ho Li ***. Bam Ding Ow."
Begin with flight school… Get your private license. Then begin achieving your ratings for different types of aircraft ending with your commercial rating. It will not be cheap and may take some time but you can get there. You might even consider training in the military as many military pilots go on the fly commercial jets or a degree in aviation.
A lot of us know.
95% or more of commercial airline pilots are former military pilots that got paid while doing their service to become the best of the best. Schooling is available but is also very expensive.
You need to first find out what the job entails. They pay isn't very good and the hours suck. It may not be as glorious a job as you think. It takes many years to get a good paying job with a major airline. You'll have to suffer through a lot until then.
Become a dentist. Normal hours. No weekend shift. Better pay. Vacations in Aspen and Bora Bora.
"do any of you know how to"
Yes, I do.
First step, find about $100,000.
Flight school might help.
First find your self a wealthy wife who can afford to give you $ 200,000,00.
Yes $200,000,00 it what you need these days.
Or become a military pilot and put in a few year's service before you can leave to pay for your training
- Can I still become an airline pilot? So, I'm 5ft and I wear glasses, but my prescription is very low, as in +0.25 and +0.5. I was told to be a pilot you need to be 5ft 2 at least, and you need perfect vision. Is this true?
- What do I really need to become a pilot and work for an airline? Really, all aviation programs are extremely complicated to understand. Do I need a CPL? A bachelors degree? How does one become a pilot and work for an airline?
- How can I become and Air Traffic Controller? I'm very interested in becoming an Air Traffic Controller! I love the communication side of Aviation. I'm currently a Sophomore in college and my school does not offer an AT-CTI program, but it offers Flight Operations and Aviation Management (which I'm taking both). I was wondering what the process would be to become a controller the civilian way. I do not desire to join the military. I just want to be an ATC at airports in the US
- What is the hiring process like to become a transportation security officer at the airport? I don't have any experience, how likely is it that I will get hired? They sent me an email saying I passed the eligibility requirements. They didn't say anything About experience.
