Airport security tsa?
I'm bringing my wired keyboard along with the mouse in my backpack. And I was wondering during the security checkpoint, would I have to remove the electronics and put it in a separate tray?
I know that I have to put the laptop in a separate tray by itself. But how about the keyboard and mouse?
They want to be able to get a clear view on the X-ray. Put them in a separate tray. Use as many trays as you need.
You might have to
YOU DO as the Agent that checks you tells you to do.
Exact procedure changes day to day. Be prepared to take it out and put in a tray.
They can empty your entire bag if they want too. They can take stuff apart if they want too. The Agent can deny any item they suspect.
The keyboard and mouse can stay in the bag unless they ask you to take them out.
They should be able to stay in your bag. Security might ask that they be removed, but I would leave them in the bag unless they ask. While they want to see things well, they also want to keep things moving. So they don't want people dragging things out of their bags that don't need to be taken out.
The mouse should be fine to keep stowed in the carry-on baggage, but you will need to take out the keyboard. (i.e. Any electronics larger than a cellphone.)

- Asthma suffers do you have any problems taking your inhalers through Airport security? I'm off to Canada tomorrow from Heathrow and I have packed two inhalers in my hand luggage, they are in a clear re-sealable bag, I don't have the original box or prescription. Should this cause any issues? Has anyone else had any issues getting inhalers through Airport security?
- Can I smuggle my wax pen or dab pen (weed) without tsa noticing at the airport? I'm also under 18 so would cause problems aswell? I'm flying to Philadelphia from Los Angeles and I was wondering if its possible if I can smuggle my wax pen (weed) without tsa noticing. I'm also under 18 would that cause problems aswell?
- How strictly does the TSA enforce the liquids rule? I'm going on a trip to Arizona and I'm checking my bags on the way there, but not on the way back because my flight stops in a San Diego before I go home. I have some things that go above the 3.4oz rule but I do need to take them. I don't know if I should worry about taking them or not. Does the security (pheonix airport) enforce that really strongly? What should I do?
- TSA and underage vaping? I bought a Juul because I felt it would be least noticeable around TSA and the person I'm visiting. I plan to follow all rules reguarding e-cigarettes, but I'm just wondering if TSA will notice I'm underage, and what steps they would take after, if not just throwing away the Juul. Has any teen here brought vapes or cigarettes to an airline?
