Asthma suffers do you have any problems taking your inhalers through Airport security?

I'm off to Canada tomorrow from Heathrow and I have packed two inhalers in my hand luggage, they are in a clear re-sealable bag, I don't have the original box or prescription. Should this cause any issues? Has anyone else had any issues getting inhalers through Airport security?

My advice is to look at the airlines website and if needed, the TSA siteā€¦ Either should have the answer

People travel with inhalers all the time without a problem.

Inhaler cartridges contain less than 100mls of liquid. So are OK to take through airport security. Just keep them in the plastic bag until you get on the plane.

No, but if you are that worried give your Airport a call, it couldn't hurt!

I took my recreational inhalers into Canada no problem, in fact they had no interest in looking in my bags whatsoever.

Medications are exempt from the liquid/gel rules. I've traveled with an inhaler and have never had any trouble.

Inhalers are a normal thing to have.
As you knew you were travelling WHY WHY WHY could you not be bothered to get a copy of your prescription just in case you might need to get some in Canada.
WHY WHY WHY could you not keep the original package with the prescription information as attached by the pharmacist(chemist)

Canada Customs could have issues with unmarked items.

They are legal items. You just deliberately want to make it difficult. WHY?

You can have an easy pass at the check point or a slow one as they check things more closely.
YOUR CHOICE.
There's an easy way to do things. You have decided to do it some other way.
