What to do when a flight gets cancelled twice?
I was supposed to fly home on thursday. Flight got cancelled and I was placed on the friday one. The friday one got cancelled and now I'm placed on the Saturday one. (Which I'm guessing will also be cancelled). It supposedly due to the "weather" but other airlines are coming in with out problems. And it is typical winter weather for my town. It's not even snowing, just cloudy. If they keep putting it off just because of the clouds then I will be here till March. What am I supposed to do at this point? I'm missing classes and work because of it.
It's not necessarily the weather at your destination that's the problem. If the plane is arriving at your departure airport from a city affected by bad weather it could be cancelled because it can't get to where you are. You could buy a ticket on another airline if one is flying or just wait it out
You wait or drive.
It could be the weather where you are flying to that is the issue, the cold and the snow has canceled flights all over the east coast and some airports might still be canceling most flights. Your employer and your school should work with you on this as its not your fault your stuck. You should be asking the airline what they are doing. If your flying a normal airline they should have rebooked you by now, if your flying a discount airline (spirit, frontier, etc) your likely on your own by now. Really call the airline
Call the airline and talk to a human to ask about options.
You can book your tickets via ixigo flights app. You can download flight app on your phone and get flight status, compare the price of all airline at one place. If your flights canceled due to weather and any other reason, you can get the information through the app.
- What happens to airline workers when flights are cancelled? I might start working for an airline soon and since it started snowing a few times again here in chicago i began wondering what happens to workers when a storm hits and flights are cancelled? Or when flights are cancelled in general?
- I cancelled a flight on expedia and was refunded in airline credit. I had purchased insurance on the ticket and didn't realize I had to File a claim to be refunded. I'm **** out of luck because I already ordered my other tickets and American Airlines is charging a $200 fee on the airline credit, so even if I eventually use the credit in the next 12 months, I'm still out $200.
