Aviation university? Or just a regular university and then do aviation on the side?
I'm currently 15 and going through ground school in january. I want to one day be a major airline pilot. Which is the faster/better route to take?
Do flight training on your own, and get a college degree in something else, something you'll enjoy doing if flying doesn't work out for you.
Pilot (flight crew) school or Cabin crew school or aeronautical school? They are listed under Aviation industry…
15 is bit young to get started with a formal ground school, since you can't get your Private license until you are 17 years old, or a Commercial license until you're 18. Ground School is not actually REQUIRED to get a pilot's license anyway. You can study on your own to get enough knowledge to pass the FAA written exams.
As far as college is concerned, any kind of aviation degree is a TOTAL waste of time and money. It won't get you hired or promoted any faster, and if something happens that you can't fly any more, an aviation degree won't help you find a REAL job.

Join air force. Will save years.
Or, get bachelor's in History, it's the easiest major.
Join the air force and get your experience there. AND get paid for being there.
- Do passenger air jets fly over the North Pole often on their way to other side of world (Ex. China) from North America? Was watching a documentary where someone left Canada on a passenger jet and they showed the flight going over the north pole to China would it not be kind of dangerous if they had to land and had to get out at the North pole? the cold air pressure is not too much for passengers inside?
- I'm going to London and then Paris. So I was wondering can I just do the VAT refund when I just arrive at the Paris airport (CDG)? B/c I know I'm just going to spent the most of in London and Paris its just going to be food/ cheap souvenirs. Also, for the reason that I did not account for how much time the VAT refund line may take and I already booked when my hotel car will pick me up to depart back home. Including, all the websites I checked they keep telling me that I should go do my VAT refund before I leave Europe. Therefore, it would to appreciated if I got an answer.
- At the airport at allegiant airline in the personal item bin to measure bag can a bookbag be laid side ways? I'm flying allegiant and wondered if they will allow you to lay your bookbag on the side to measure rather than upright. I'm only trying to have my book bag as a personal item. If it's laid sideways it might make it. I have a picture of the bin below as an example.
