How lazy are you?
Check the website for the airline.
This is THE MOST accident prone airline…
The new baggage allowance will therefore be 30 kg per person in Economy Class, 35 kg per person in Premium Economy Class, and 40 kg per person in Business Class.
Occupational safety rules at international airports however limit each piece of luggage to a maximum of 32 kg.
No airline will deal with 50lb bags. All the baggage handlers would walk out. Most have a maxmum of 30lbs per bag.
Try reading the baggage section on their website.
- United Airlines Economy vs Basic Economy? My ticket says United Economy on it but I'm wondering if it's basic? Would it say? There's a difference, right? Sorry if it's a stupid question
- Why don't airlines charge for people's weight, the same way they charge for the luggage's weight? The cost for adding a few punds to your luggage is robbery. I'm at least 40 lbs lighter than the average American. Why can't they give me a discount considering that I probably cost less fuel than most people?
- What is difference between an Economy ticket & first class airline ticket? A seats a seat at the end of the day. A 5 hour plane journey is still a 5 hour plabe journey. How does your life improve of you spend £5,000 more than everyone else on a 5hour plane journey?
- United airlines baggage charge, will i be denied checked baggage? I recently booked an international flight from Edinburgh to Newark, without realising there's a 60 dollar baggage charge for each way, i'm happy to pay this upon checking in My concern is that at the airport they may possibly tell me there isn't room for my suitcase, has this ever been the case before? I can't even call the airline due to all their offices being based in the US
