Do I require OK to Board for my flight to Dubai from India on Srilankan Airlines?
I'm travelling on Sri Lankan Airlines on this december to UAE for visiting my resident parents there. My flight is via Colombo from Chennai with a transit time of 20 hrs in between. I'm travelling on a E- Tourist UAE Visa. Will I require to get OK to Board? I'm a college student in Chennai, so i guess my passport is ECNR.

YES AIRLINE staff and security will check you BEFORE you can board.
You DO NOT just walk out to the plane waving your passport.
Citizens of India are required to get a Visa for Sri Lanka. You can get it on arrival or apply in advance for one.
UAE visa is for UAE not every stop along the way.
Airline staff are not the IMMIGRATION for UAE
UAE officials when you land will decide if you can leave the Airport or just return back.
You do have a minor issue will your layover Your 20 hour wait does not make much sense but it happens.
Did you plan to just wander around the Airport or get a Hotel room for the night?

Do they ship it to wherever they are going or what And if it remains in the parking lot then what car do they use to get to their destination after the plane lands at their destination
- Do civilian aircraft mechanics require a security clearance? I understand that places like Lockheed Martin probably require their aircraft mechanics to have security clearances, especially when working on military projects. But what about normal airlines such as Delta, etc. How common are civilian aircraft mechanic jobs that don't require security clearances. I tried search engines, but all I get are job posting websites that don't answer my question.
