Best airline for Boston to London (Economy)?
Best airline for Boston to London (Economy)?
Added (1). We're flying from Boston to London (Economy) and are wondering what is the comfiest/friendliest to take?
Keep in ind, I'm tall 6'3" so mainly worried about leg room. In my research, found that Swiss Airlines and Air France seem to be good. Any recommendations?
Added (2). Our options are.
1. Air France
2. KLM
3. Aer Lingus
4. American Airlines
5. Singapore Airlines
6. Iberia
7. Norwegian
UPDATE: wow 3 thumbs down with no explanation that's cool I hope your plane crashes bro
I would say American airlines since its the only one I have been on in your list. Also keep in mind you actually wanna make it there safely so pick the one you think won't crash really.
I'm 5"11 so you should be ok lol
Your list doesn't make much sense.
Singapore Airlines doesn't even fly to/from Boston, and even if they did, you would probably have to fly to Singapore and change planes.
You left off British Airways. They have non-stop service from Logan to Heathrow. Delta and Virgin Atlantic also has non-stops to Heathrow. All three of those are fine choices. If you fly American, you are going to have to change planes somewhere else on the East Coast, making your trip longer.
Norwegian Air Shuttle is a low-cost carrier, so don't expect many amentities, but expect to get charged a fee for everything.
Your list makes little sense. As part of your choice is how long do you want your travel to take A direct flight or a change of planes.
Friendliness Did you want a smile count per hour? Your chance of being next to a nice row mate or a jerk?
Seat guru can give you the legroom information for your selected flights.
Flight is six to seven hours for direct flight
Aer Lingus a stop in Dublin and probably a change in plane.
Air France a change of plane in Paris.
British Airways has a direct flight
Delta Air Lines has a direct flight
KLM change planes in Amsterdam.
Iberia change planes in Madrid.
Singapore Airlines not sure how you get that one. They fly to New York and Newark. The route would be over the Pacific Ocean and Asia. A very long flight.
Good luck selecting your Airline. Only you can place a value on an extra inch or two of leg space.
If you are really concerned then upgrade to business class. For extra leg room.
Norwegian Air Shuttle is a low cost Airline.
Virgin Atlantic has a direct flight.
You could get there on West Jet changing planes in Toronto.
Lufthansa changing planes in Germany.
Did you want a menu comparison too?
Swiss Airlines is a change of planes in Zurich
Your choice to do it fast in about seven hours or take the scenic diversion of about 12 hours.
For a Direct flight British Airways is best rated.
Make up your mind and decide CHEAP seat or pay extra for legroom.Reserve an Aisle seat.
Icelandair and Virgin have the most leg room.
British airways and prebook your seat by the exit so you have more legroom, honestly there isn't much between all the airline that operate this route on seats most are around 31-32 inches 1 inch really won't feel any different to 6' 3" person. Consider premium economy, booked early enough you could get a good deal and save your worrying.
I would have suggest British Airways or Virgin Airways. Icelandair is a hidden gem people don't know about. However from your choices, I would probably suggest Aer Lingus. Not a big fan of connecting through DeGaulle in Paris and Schipol in Amsterdam is a pretty big airport. Other factors to consider are how long of a connection time you have flying with the different airlines; the ticket price; and if you want to fly a particular airline or partner airline to earn frequent flier miles.
- I purchased a flight through costco for American Airlines how can I find out if I have basic economy? I recently went on another trip and it was very clear I was purchasing basic economy tickets, but through costco I'm not sure. My last trip it said "Economy B" but for this ticket when I look online it just says Economy. I'm wondering if I can bring a bag and a personal bag.
- United Airlines Economy vs Basic Economy? My ticket says United Economy on it but I'm wondering if it's basic? Would it say? There's a difference, right? Sorry if it's a stupid question
- Have any of you every flown from boston to syracuse? How long in the flight? (in air time)? If so… Could you tell me how long the fight was and wether or not the syracuse airport has many food options?
- What is difference between an Economy ticket & first class airline ticket? A seats a seat at the end of the day. A 5 hour plane journey is still a 5 hour plabe journey. How does your life improve of you spend £5,000 more than everyone else on a 5hour plane journey?
