You are afraid of flying. MILLIONS ARE.

I know all about the short runway, Good for you and the length of runway required for the plane you are flying on is what?
noise abatement rules MOST Airports have them.
steepness? The airport is level. Oh you are worried you will fall out of your seat. Stay seated and keep your seat belt on.
All those frequent flyers also had their FIRST flight.
Flights can be like this.
they can also be like this.
I fly out of SNA so the first thing to remember is that this is done all of the time and should not be a concern.
The takeoff will be steeper than at other airports. But if you are not a frequent flyer with other airports if you didn't know this already it is unlikely you would notice. Sometimes the pilot will make an announcement of what will happen.
Now, a few seconds into the takeoff the pilot will throttle back the engines significantly as it goes over the neighborhoods. This is actually what tends to concern more people than the actual takeoff angle. However, just remember that it is totally normal. After they bring the engines back up it is really just a standard flight.
Do you ride roller coasters? They're much scarier- and you're more likely to be in an accident on a roller coaster than on a plane. Look it up.
The worst thing about flying is the other annoying people on the plane.
How many crashes there in the last ten years? Enough said.
Usted puede, apenas cree.

So be scared. You'll get on the plane anyway, it'll take off, in due course it'll land. You might be nervous but so what? Plenty of people are nervous about different situations but generally we just go ahead anyway.

So is Christmas season and I'm traveling from the US to Mexico for the holidays, I have already flying from point A to point B but I never have from point A to point B and C ( or city stops) so I'm nervous. How early have to be on the airport? Is one hour enough to switch from one plane to other? How long can it take on immigration and still have to take the second plane?
