How did you deal with flying alone for the first time?
We're you scared, did you not really care, what did you do to get over it or just any tips you have for flying and being able to get through the airport and fly with ease thanks so much
It was no big deal to me.
I wasn't really scared because I had flown before and was confident that I knew what to do.
It was easy for me. I was 23 at the time. I went to Europe and backpacked. I'm or at least the adventurous type
My grandfather was a pilot in WWII. He told stories of flying planes that were basically big tin cans with motors out, and in terrible storms, and over people shooting at him. So I guess I wasn't worried about a modern jet, where there are safety systems to back up safety systems to back up safety systems. A place is one of the safest places you can be- much safer than the car on the way to the airport.
Didn't have to "deal" with it. I was a small kid and was terribly excited, I sure enjoyed the whole experience, and since then I've flown so many times, both short, long and very long flights, it's become actually boring lol.
Try to enjoy the experience, get a window seat and watch the world disappear under your feet lol. Look at the pretty clouds and enjoy the view if it's a clear day. Have fun!
First time flying alone was from UK to vietnam and i was only nervous when it had turbulance
I love to fly…
I enjoyed it. Though the 1st time the cut back the engines to glide into the airport, that 'spooked me' a bit. Why the heck are they turning off the engines when we're still 3 friggin miles in the air?
By far the worst part of any flight is getting through the queues at Security. Once that's done, the rest is easy and not unpleasant.
Honey! I was 10 years old when I flew alone the first time. I pre-ordered the vegetarian meal. Even the frequent fliers were impressed
- First time flying with stops? So is Christmas season and I'm traveling from the US to Mexico for the holidays, I have already flying from point A to point B but I never have from point A to point B and C ( or city stops) so I'm nervous. How early have to be on the airport? Is one hour enough to switch from one plane to other? How long can it take on immigration and still have to take the second plane?
- Advice for first time flight alone? I'm 18 and although a frequent flyer I'm about to fly alone for the first time ever and to make it worse the flight is 15 hours the longest I've ever done before is 11 with family what can I do since I won't know anyone? And any advice for getting through the airport without panicking
- Did you bring dildo in your checked baggage when you travel internationally before? What's your story in the airport? I know this is some sort of a weird and personal question, but I'm wondering if I can bring 7 inch dildo. Lol! Please don't judge? I just wanted to know if this would cause someone to ask me to open my luggage. I'm travelling to Singapore and US
- TRAVELLING ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME? So i decided to travel alone this year for the very first time ever?! I really don't know how it all works, so i will book my flight online on the easyjet app. After that what are the steps? Checking in? All the departure steps of the airport does it differ and how do i get through it?! I'm from the UK and traveling to Turkey, do i need a visa and if so how? Also, should I exchange money beforehand?
