If on the same ticket, yes. KLIA is a fairly quiet airport.

Can you guarantee your first plane arrival?
Can you guarantee the minute you get off first flight?

It is possible to make this connection for many.
Will it be possible for you the day you fly? MAYBE.
A risk you agreed to when you booked this connection.

Be aware if you miss the connection you do not get next flight out you get next AVAILABLE seat. Might be an hour or a day or two wait.

You decided to push the limits. You might make it if you are prompt in getting off first flight and go to next flight. Not much time to wander around.

It really is a good idea to allow a little more time.A long flight can easily be either late or early because of wind that day along the route.

Only if the first segment of your flight leaves London on time. How big is the airport in KL? How far might it be between the landing gate for the London flight and the departure gate for the Manila flight? Will you have to retrieve your luggage to transfer it to the final part of your flight, or will that be done by the airport?

I'm asking because I flew home to the US from Heathrow a few years ago and had an odd flight that took me first to Frankfurt, Germany, THEN to the US airport. I originally had a two hour layover, but the flight left England almost an hour late. Germany requires even passengers in transit to go through security on the ground, so I had to do that before I could get to my flight - which I barely did! They were almost ready to shut the door when I got there, but they let me in. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until my arrival in the US that my suitcase hadn't made it to the plane I was on! They had to unload all the luggage that wasn't staying on that plane and sort it out to disembarking passengers in the baggage area or to departing planes, and there just wasn't enough time! Luckily, I had kept my medications with me in my carryon and I had a change of clothes, so my plans to spend the night at my arrival city before taking the train to my home weren't a problem, but it was three days before my suitcase finally arrived there!

If a straight connection on the same airline and/or booking, then it is plenty of time. Just follow connections signage and at London ensure your baggage is checked through.

As long as you don't have to change terminals you should be OK

  • Long enough layover? I have 45 minutes to get from Terminal A to Terminal D at DFW Airport. Does anyone know how long it normally takes to get from one end to the other?
  • London 8:30 hour layover? In a few days i will have a 8:30 hour layover in london where i need to change airports. I arrive at Heathrow Airport at 7:40 and leave Stansted airport at 16:15. We want to visit one waterstones and have lunch at an Honest burgers. Is this possible? How can we do this in terms of public transportation? Is there another restaurant that is not super expensive that serves the impossible burger? (We want to try impossible/beyond burger)
  • How to transfer airport between Dulles Washington airport (IAD)to Ronald Reagan airport (DCA)? Flight from Abu Dhabi will be arriving at IAD around 4.25pm on Thursday. Flight to DCA flying to Nashville is at 8pm. I read reviews and realised that the traffic is really bad. I prefer non stop and shuttle bus since I never been to Washington.
