I'm flying by myself for the first time in a week and I'm quite nervous - 1

So i'm 17 I have flown a few times before 5 times (well 10 if you count there and back) the last time was over a year ago, this isn't the first time flying without my parents as I went on a school trip but this it's my first time going to the airport by myself checking in, going through security, getting my gate boarding etc I have flown from this airport 4 of the 5 times so i'll probably know my way when I get there but as of now I can't think of a what to do when I get there its dublin airport if anyone has been there I use to not care too much about flying but lately now that I have to do it all by myself I'm quite nervous but I go in and out about being kind of scared and then other times I'm kind of came about it, I don't usually have seats beside who I'm flying with and the flight is only around 2hr30 mins( the longest i've been on is just over 3 hours) so I'm not sure why I'm scared/nervous so can anyone help any tips of what to do how to calm myself/ stop overthinking it anything at all that will help thank you so much

Post this to twitter instead, since there isn't a question anywhere.

Your "question" is one long run-on sentence.

It's time to care for yourself a bit more. What is the worst thing that can happen? Check in, security and get on the plane. Have a soda and relax. Make sure you have enough time and bring some thing to read.

ASK a QUESTION and expect an answer. Ramble on and on and you get back something else.

I have flown a few times before.
Good for you. Must have some memory of the events.

this isn't the first time flying without my parents
Good for you. You figured out you can go without mommy holding your hand. And dad doing up your seat belt.

I have flown from this airport 4 times. Guess what. Not much has changed.

It's Dublin airport, SO WHAT. They are all basically the same. Try using your almost Adult brain. Follow the signs and ask questions if you get lost.

The flight is only around 2hr30 mins Gosh what to do. Not enough time to read a good book. No time to listen to a hundred songs on your gadget.Mkaking selfies and sending messages to all your friends not possible not enough time. Gosh maybe take some knitting and make some mitts, scarves and a sweater or two.

Maybe you can study grammar and learn how to use a "?".

Have a nice adventure. Your flight is just something along the way.

  • Plane ticket has first, middle and last name but my passport only has first and last name? I'm flying Scandinavian Airlines and my plane ticket has my first, middle, and last name but my passport only has my first and last name. Does anyone have any experience with this or think it will be an issue? I called the travel agency and they told me they could not do anything to correct the middle name. I was also thinking about bringing another form of ID like a birth certificate or social security card to be safe.
  • First time flying with stops? So is Christmas season and I'm traveling from the US to Mexico for the holidays, I have already flying from point A to point B but I never have from point A to point B and C ( or city stops) so I'm nervous. How early have to be on the airport? Is one hour enough to switch from one plane to other? How long can it take on immigration and still have to take the second plane?
  • Going through immigration and costums at narita airport nervous never traveled abroad before how easy is it? I'm going to Japan in September and I have never travelled abroad I will be at terminal 1. What is it like going through immigration and costums. I have all the proper information as well. I know they finger print you and you sign a form on the plane. I'm flying from lax airport. I'm a but nervous. Will it be a breeze i'm landing at 7 pm
  • Is it normal to be nervous when you are about to go on your first flight on a commercial airline by yourself? I've flown several times but Wednesday will be the first time I will have flown by myself. I'm a bit nervous. Not about the actual flying but just flying alone. I'm trying to look at it as adventure.
