Would you go into an airline if you had the chance and miss out on GA experience and proper hands on flying or would you do GA first and then eventually try for an airline?

In this world there are not a lot of job openings EVERYDAY everywhere.

You take the job that comes along. You can always do the other at a later date.
Airline pilots do not work everyday and can fly some other plane on their off time or when they retire from the commercial large Airline.
