Can I get out of a hotel at 3 am?

I have a flight at 5:30 am. The nearest hotel to the airport is 4 miles away.

Of course, It is not like Hotel California (you can check-in but you can never check-out), the front desk is open 24/7 to check out and if not settle up at check-in - but you can always leave how gracefully you do it up to you. (Some motels don't have front desk help 24x7 but all major hotels do.

You can check out any time you like. I would let the front desk know you are leaving at that time. They may line up transportation to the airport for you so you can sleep a little later.

Yes better early than late

You'll have to sneak past the armed door guards and packs of wild dogs in the parking lot. But yes, it is a possible accomplishment for the most elite among us.

You can check out when it's convenient for you. There likely won't be a shuttle that early in the morning, so you will need to figure out another way to the airport.

Also, you need to check what time the airport opens or the check in counter for your airline. For a 5:30am flight, it wouldn't be unusual for them to be closed until 4am or even 4:30am.

If your flight is at 5:30 suggest you leave the hotel before 3:00 AM.
How did you plan to get to Airport? Drive your rental car? Need time to return it.
Hotel Shuttle? Suggest you reserve a seat and find out their schedule.
TAXI may want to order it before you come to lobby.

As a courtesy you can tell the front desk you will be checking out at that time and they might have a coffee for you, give you a wake up call.Book a Taxi, reserve a seat on the shuttle, have a take away breakfast snackā€¦

Yes. If there's not anyone at the front desk, there's usually a key drop but most hotels have someone 24 hours a day. Make sure you have any transportation lined up the say before. Unless you're downtown, dpnt expect to readily hail a cab. You can reaerve a cab the day before if you want, ride share and shuttles as well

You can leave the hotel at any time.

If they have a 24 hour reception, you can check out easily; if not, check with reception where to leave your key

Yes you can.

Many, yes; all, no.
