What is the process of connecting different airplanes?
I'm planning a trip to China and Tokyo, my flights are round trip from JFK to xiamen China, and another round trip from xiamen to Tokyo. My trip back from xiamen to JFK is suppose to take off at 5:55pm on the 16th and my trip back from Tokyo to xiamen is suppose to land in xiamen at 1:25pm. When i land in xiamen from tokyo, after I grab my luggage, do I need to go to through immigration and exit the airport then go through regular check out or can I go through transfer without exiting the airport? I'm asking this because it's two separate flights purchased separately and i never done this, i usually have transfer flights usually on same airline so i'm not sure what the process is for this.
Ask the airlines
Probably they will not make you go through immigration, if Xiamen airport has a way to keep you in international territory within the airport by letting you just walk to your next gate for the flight to JFK.
Your wording is making this really unclear. To explain the process… If you are just chaning planes, you do not need to get your bags, you do not need to go through security. They will direct you to mid airport security where they simply check your ID and your carry on and you go to your next flight. Only if you like booked yourself on different airlines would you need to do anything
- How soon will the Airports start using these electronic powered airplanes. This will greatly reduce the air polution from Gas powered planes? https://www.google.com/...-show/amp/
- What is the future of airplanes in the airline industry? Lets say 10 or 15 yeaes from now will commercial passenger airplanes look different than todays airliners for example supersonic or electric hypersonic Because people say nothing has changed much in the airline industry people say todays airplanes look the same from 1990s
- WHAT IS THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF GOING ON HOLIDAY FROM BOOKING TO THE TICKETS TO LANDING IN THE COUNTRY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN? So I have just turned 18 and there are many important things that we're not taught and there's no other way us young people can learn these things. So someone please state the entire process. All I know is that somehow you buy tickets and then there's a whole process in the airport. (Please can you talk about visas, hotels, how long you can stay etc)
- What is the hiring process like to become a transportation security officer at the airport? I don't have any experience, how likely is it that I will get hired? They sent me an email saying I passed the eligibility requirements. They didn't say anything About experience.
