What's the deal with airline food?
Deal about what? You eat it or you don't.
Rude? How am I rude? Ask something besides a stupid brainless question so we can give an answer.
I bet if you were on the ground the food would taste great. The low air pressure in airplanes weaken your taste buds. Maybe even your hearing. Bacterial reasons would we explainable too.
Is this a Seinfeld thing?
What about it?
It may be that I'm a human garbage can, but I quite enjoy airline food - I've had it plenty of times, in economy and first class - it's not the best food in the world but it does its job, I like the little containers you get with some of the items too. Sushi in KLM's first class was surprisingly good (maybe the champagne helped), and loved British Airways serving scones with clotted cream.
Like the rest of the airline industry, its gone to total ****.
It is food that is in some way associated with airlines. If you ever have a meaningful question, be sure to ask it.
Ba-dum-bump!
What are you asking? Is it about the taste? The quantity? Something you don't like? Please write again so we can be more specific in our answers? Generally speaking, they give you really small amounts, taste is designed to please most if not all passengers, and is usually on the bland side, and they cost a lot to put together. Check it out. One way or the other, you are paying a lot for very little. But then, what else is there to do on a flight, other than your own entertainment.
What is the question
On most domestic flights only First Class get free food, other food is available for purchase
On international flights you are fed, the number of meals depends on length of the flight.
Example last year flew from Houston to Manila, first leg of the flight was Houston to Taiwan got 2 meals and 2 snacks. On the second part of trip Taiwan to Manila got another meal.
The quality of the meals were OK, taste wise its in line with Chili's, TGIFs or other casual restaurants. Usually have a choice of western style or Asian style meals
- Which airline companies pay their future flight attendants during their training, and which airline companies are unionized? I also wanted to know which airline companies pay their future flight attendants during their training time, as well as which ones pay for their housing whether it be at a hotel somewhere or not. And which airline companies pay their flight attendants the best and treat their employees the best?
- Does British Airways Food Choices? Does British Airways offer you a choice of food for their standard meals while you are on the plane? Not the diet specific or up charged meals. This would be for a long haul international flight.
- Can I become an airline pilot for a major airline if I go to college for a computer science degree (Bachelors Degree)? And also why is their so much debt in order to be a airline pilot? Is it because of people choosing the "go to college for aviation" sort of route?
- What airline am I flying with? Carrier is Air France but operating airline is Virgin Atlantic? I'm due to fly to Miami in September and I booked a flight with kiwi.com. The flight is with Air France however in the details it states that the operating airline for the flight is Virgin Atlantic. Does this mean I will be flying on a Virgin Atlantic aircraft or a Air France one?
