How will the government shutdown effect the prices and readibility of airline tickets?
I plan on flying to Phoenix very soon. I plan to buy the ticket in the next few weeks. However, the government shutdown continues to persist and if it continues it will effect the jobs and pay of many TSA and Air flight controllers Will this make it harder to get airline tickets or make prices go way up in the near future?
The government shutdown will have no bearing on the price or availability of airline tickets.
NEAR future do not expect price hikes.
Could flights be cancelled due to lack of staff in MANY positions? YES.
The readability of your ticket has not much to do with the government.
TSA and Air flight controllers are just TWO of the jobs Federal staff work at Airports. Many more associated with Air Travel.
None, the government doesn't run the airlines.
- How do you know if Turkish Airlines will raise or drop the prices? A week ago i checked for prices from Boston to Venice and it was over $1400 and a few days later it dropped to $1115. The tickets are for June 29(ish, whenever it's cheaper) till July 15th. How do I know if the prices will raise or drop? Should I buy it while it's cheaper or wait and risk it, hoping they will go lower…
- WHAT IS THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF GOING ON HOLIDAY FROM BOOKING TO THE TICKETS TO LANDING IN THE COUNTRY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN? So I have just turned 18 and there are many important things that we're not taught and there's no other way us young people can learn these things. So someone please state the entire process. All I know is that somehow you buy tickets and then there's a whole process in the airport. (Please can you talk about visas, hotels, how long you can stay etc)
