If my dad flew up a cessna 150 and wanted to pick me up at an international airport, where would he pick me up? Would i go to a normal gate?

You'll have to ask the airport. There's usually a separate terminal for private planes (as opposed to the airlines.)

Have him call you when he gets there. Private planes do not park in the commercial airline gates.

You go to the part of the airport for small planes

Most large airports have what is called a "General Aviation Terminal" where small and private planes are parked. The terminal is usually on the edge of the airport and not very conspicuous, but if you read the directional signs when driving into the airport, you should see directions to get there. Often they have their own parking lots. Some are very small buildings, others have a variety of services.

Be aware that some of the larger international airports discourage private aviation, since it gets in the way of the big jets. For instance, in New York City, most small planes use Teterboro Airport in New Jersey or one of the suburban airports, rather than JFK or Newark.

Find out where the flight is ASSIGNED to land and go there.

Depends on which International Airport.
The one at Sweetgrass is not very big not hard to find the plane you would want. It only has a few flights each month.

Your Dad as the pilot can easily find out where he can park and direct you to the the required entrance area for that place.

Would i go to a normal gate? You go to the NORMAL area the airport has set aside for small planes. Being INTERNATIONAL just means it has Customs and Immigration service.

If you want specific information for a specific Airport just edit your question. It is not a secret where you would go. Every International Airport does not deal with small private planes. Many do. Where depends on the Airport.

Commercial airports do not mix airline terminals with general aviation operations. IF the airport allows general aviation aircraft to land at all, they would have to go to a separate aircraft parking area, and you would meet at a local FBO facility.

He would normally pick you up a a fixed based operator where private aircraft are serviced. You'l have to find a way to get to the FBO via taxi or shuttle. An FBO is like a gas station to your car.

VERY FEW IF ANY COMERICAL INTERNAIONAL AIRPORTS ALLOW LIGHT AIRCRAFT TO LAND THERE!
AND AS YOUR FATHER DOES NOT FLY A LIGHT AIRCRAFT WHY ARE YOU WASTING OUR TIME!

Even Sky Harbor international (KPHX) has a General aviation terminal. There are also a number of light aircraft on the field.
