How do i know what airport to go to if i buy tickets online
I'm 19, I'm planning a trip to Indiana to see my family after 5 long years lol, its a surprise, but i'm on the delta website and i'm ready to book my flight but i'm not sure what airport its for. I live in Georgia by the way
When you buy the tickets, you say where you're flying from and to. Hopefully you know what the closest airport is to you, or which ones you can get to easily. Delta's got a major hub at Hartsfield-Jackson, Atlanta.
There'll also be a three-letter airport code that you can look up (Hartsfield is ATL)
You should have picked a city to fly from. Then the itinerary should list the airport including using a 3 letter code. You can google the code. It might help if you live in a particular city in Georgia (Atlanta, Columbus, Savannah, etc).
- Do I have to check in online for a flight or can I still do it at the airport? Cause their system is not working. I just want to check in at the airport… But I won't have my boarding passes then before I get there.
- What is the best site to buy plane tickets online? I want to book a flight for a one off trip, I googled my city to my destination and I saw listings from around $175 (spirit airlines) up to $500 (United and other airlines). What are the reasons for such a price gap in airline tickets? Is this accurate? What should I be expecting to pay from Chicago to Texas and what site do you recommend?
- Do you know why some stores at airport ask for boarding pass? Do you know why some stores at airport ask for boarding pass when buying stuff even chocolates, candies or foods? That happened to me when I was in Amsterdam airport.
- Why do some people who book Frontier wait till they get to the airport to pay for checkin luggage when it's more than when you pay online? Like you have a small fee online. If you wait till you're at the airport it's a bigger fee. Are these people irrational?
