Can my frequent flyer miles from decades ago transfer from NW to Delta/American airlines? If so, how do I go about having it done?
Can my frequent flyer miles from decades ago transfer from NW to Delta/American airlines? If so, how do I go about having it done?
First check that the miles still exist. After that time there's a good chance they don't. If so, talk to Delta.
They won't go to American. I'm not sure why you would think that.
When NW and Delta merged, everyone with a NW account had their account merged into their Delta account (and if they didn't have a Delta account, it became one).
That happened about a decade ago.
So, in short, you no longer have any NW miles. They became Delta miles years ago. Whether or not you still have them is a question to ask Delta.
IIRC, Delta Skymiles do not expire. Whether they still exist from a Northwest merger 10-years ago is a different matter. Call Delta and ask
Call Delta. See if they have a ff account for you. Your NW miles should have transferred automatically to a Delta account.
- Would flying between 40k and 45k miles a year make me a frequent flyer? The past few years I have kept track of the amount of (real) miles I have flown -- I say real miles to distinguish them from airline miles, because I don't always fly with the same rewards program -- and the average is about 40 to 45k miles a year. In everyday conversations, would it make sense to consider myself a "frequent flyer," or is that only for people who fly like 100k plus every year?
- American Airlines vs Delta vs United Airlines? I'm traveling from New Orleans to Miami. I'm using an app called trip adiviser and Skyscanner to get cheap tickets and would like to know which out of the three airlines are a better choice. If anyone who reads this has experienced anything life threatening or traumatizing on while using one of these airlines please share! Is Southwest Airlines a better choice than the three listed above?
- Hawaiian airlines miles? Where are the best deals to flight from Honolulu? I use to flight to Tokyo or Osaka for 35,000 miles but now prices are way higher. Does anyone know a nice deal going on right now to Japan or Mainland?
- I ordered a package a while ago, and the tracking number has not updated in two weeks? I ordered a tablet cord from a china on December 17th 2018. Two days later, the package was apparently sent to an airport to be shipped overseas. Ever since then, the tracking number hasn't updated. It's now January 3rd, 2019, not too long before the package should be arriving at my doorstep (Average from what I heard is 15-16 business days). Is this normal? Should I be worried that my package isn't being tracked? What should I do?
