How to get vape through airport security?

So I'm traveling to Dallas and I'm trying to bring my Smok Nord Vape with me. I'm under 18 and my parents don't know I vape. Is there any way I could get it through security without getting caught? Do I leave it in the bag that goes on the conveyer or do I take it in my carry on?

Grow up and confess. If you have to hide it you are too immature to do it.

There are very strict rules about those. They MUST be in your carry on (which goes on the conveyor at the security check. If there's anything in your bag that looks in the xray like a weapon, they will search your bag. On my last trip, they looked through my bag, and the guy held up my Personal Touch shaver to show the women behind the xray machine what had looked strange on the xray. In other words, there's no guarantee that they won't pull things out of your carry on in front of your parents. Vaping is harmful, and the vaping companies are supposed to be doing something to discourage underage users, although they clearly aren't.

TSA isn't looking for underage people who are vaping without their parents knowledge.

E-Cigarettes can't be Checked, they have to go with you in the Cabin. When you go through the TSA Checkpoint you must take everything out of your pockets. If you leave them in your Carry-On it will go through the Scanner. If they see ANYTHING suspicious they will pull your bag off to the side and search the bag.

Also, don't forget that if you have any "Juice" you must put that with the rest of your liquids in the Clear Zip Top Bag and keep it out of you carry on. If you try to "sneak" the juice through by leaving it in your carry-on you can guarantee that your bag will be searched.

So there are several ways your parents could find out.

Any vaping devices need to be stowed in carry-on only. (See link.)

The e-liquids if brought as carry-on needs to follow the 3-1-1 rule. (Meaning container size no bigger than 3.4 oz. Or 100 fl. Placed in a single one-quart plastic bag.)

(Alternatively you could place the e-liquids in your checked bags and bring as much as you want since the restrictions only apply if brought as carry-on.)

Should any of your bags, either checked or carry-on, is selected for an inspection it is likely due to something else that flagged it. (Regarding the carry-on, if you want to maintain your privacy, ask for a private screening so the inspection is done out of public view.)

Keep in mind that the TSA is NOT involved with age-related enforcement. (i.e. We don't care if you are under 18 with an e-cigarette device.)

Must be in hand carry
Security won't even blink
If using illegal substances the dogs may alert but that's a different problem
