How is JetBlue able to be a low-cost airline when they have things like unlimited snacks, more legroom, and free Wi-Fi?
Many full cost airlines like Delta, United, and American only give you limited snacks, less legroom, and you have to pay for Wi-Fi that is much slower then Jetblue? Why is JetBlue a low-cost airline if the flying experience is so much better?
Not even sure. Probably has to do with a lot of people using JetBlue.
- Why don't airports use steam catapults and transverse arrestor cables, like they do on aircraft carriers, for extra short take-off & landing? 1. Airports could be pretty tiny with runways no longer than a football field 2. Takeoff and landing (takeoff especially) would be *much* more exciting 3. Airlines could charge people more money because the experience would be much more fun 4. It would save a lot of fuel with much less taxiing around the airfield, and much less fuel used during the takeoff phase
- Why are American Low Cost airlines very good compared to European Low cost airlines? Hi. Ryanair and Easy jet suck in Europe. I was so impressed by JetBlue and South West in the US. They were just like legacy major airlines
- Is it weird that I like being on airplanes MORE than the actual vacation? Being at airports, seeing people from different parts of the world together in one location, and the excitement of traveling is awesome. Going on airplanes is fun too because I'm high up in the air, about to go somewhere for vacation. But when I get to my destination, I feel less eager yet I don't know why. I just like being on airplanes. Sure, I like traveling around different countries and tasting different food, too, but being on airplanes is twice as fun for me.
- Backpacking to the Phillippines for a month and my bag weighs 25lbs, am I able to carry it in the plane or do i have it checked in? I don't want to have it checked in and worried that the airline will tell me to have it checked in. My bag is also 44L.
