Tobacco in hand luggage?
I'm going to Czech tomorrow and would like to bring back some tobacco, preferably 250g.
Problem is, we're departing from a small airport when we fly back to London and they don't have cigarettes/tobacco in their shops.
Can I buy the tobacco in town and put it in my hand luggage as that's all I'm taking
Will I be stopped at security for having it?
No one cares WHERE you buy the tobacco, and the security people don't care about tobacco.
At UK customs, you will have to declare it, and, if you are bringing in more than your allowance (I do not know what that is), you will pay some duty for the amount in excess.
Yes, you will be stopped. It is a contraband.
No.
You are allowed 1Kg from wiithin an EI member state currently.

I see whey protein powder boxes are on sales cause of black friday so I want to buy more. But I'm worry about whether I can all boxes in my checked luggage(not carry on)? Am I allowed to do that? And will the protein powder be metled during the flight?
- Flying from the UK with Easyjet - will I need to visit the check-in desk if I already have printed off boarding passes & only hand luggage? I'm flying abroad later in March (from Manchester), just for 3 days, so I only need to pack a small carry on/hand luggage. We've been sent our boarding passes already and we can check in from tomorrow (28th), but I've never been through the airport without calling at the check-in desk first. What do I do? Go straight to security? I'm not sure. Any help and directions would be ideal!
- Where to pick up luggage at Haneda Airport for International to International transfer Hi, I'm a Philippine passport holder (not eligible for japan pass), i'm just wondering do i have to get pass the immigration just to get my luggage? Because I will be staying in haneda airport for a 16 hour layover (overnight). Thus, I have to pick up my bag because the airport will not keep it overnight. And re check it in the morning.
- Is Wizz Air strict with hand luggages sizes? With Ryanair I always take my big backpack (60 L but not completely filled) in hand luggage. It is a bit bigger than hand luggage size requirements, but it always passes (the weight is less than 10kg). Would it also pass with Wizz Air, or are they much stricter? Stories of experiences are welcome!
