What airplane would you take to Las Vegas? Frontier, Southwest or US Airway?
Southwest, since they have a hub nearest to me that I like to fly out of.
None of them as those Airlines do not serve an Airport near me to Las Vegas.
I would take a direct flight from one of two others.
I would take whichever is most convenient and/or gives the best price. While Frontier is a discount carrier, the extra fees can add up quickly. I like Southwest a lot and fly with them when I can, but they don't fly in and out of my local airport.
If all offer an option from where you are flying from, it would be down to price. US Airways (essentially American Airlines) might offer a snack and a drink complimentary, the other you may have to pay. If it's a couple of hours flight I doubt there's much in it.
Well, not USAir, unless you're time traveling.
It depends on where you are flying from. Also US Airways is now part of American Airlines. I like that Southwest allows 2 checked bags to fly for free but not a fan of unassigned seating. Southwest would have the highest customer satisfaction rate among the 3 airlines mentioned.
I would take Southwest anywhere over those other two. Their fares are lower, they have the best reviews, and they have the best on-time records.
One thing though… You do not get reserved seating. So you need to know how to play that little game to get good seating aboard their airplanes. It can be done, getting good seats, but it's tricky. If you know someone who flies Southwest regularly have them show you how its done.
- Will people stop flying southwest airlines from vegas to lax or lax to sfo due to engine failure? Will southwest airlines go bankrupt because people say first united drags people off of planes now southwest airlines is killing people because a woman died on southwest flight I don't think it is the airlines fault the pilots did great they were navy air force pilots Is southwest airlines not good and safe anymore due to engine failure and a passenger who died Is this is like a fatal crash that hasn't happened in awhile
- Airplane mechanics: why would a plane have to burn off fuel before landing? My local news just talked about a flight having to return to the airport after "mechanical issues with the nose gear", but then it said that the plane had to circle the airport for about an hour "ro burn off enough fuel for landing". I'm curiois why would it have to burn off fuel instead of just landing? Especially if it turned around for mechanical issues.
- Can I take like 18 Mc'Chickens through southwest airport security? I don't know if these is a McDonald's in the airport and I need like 18 spicy Mc'Chickens. It's the airport in Arizona flying southwest. Also if you know if there's a McDonald's in there that would be great.
- Why do some people who book Frontier wait till they get to the airport to pay for checkin luggage when it's more than when you pay online? Like you have a small fee online. If you wait till you're at the airport it's a bigger fee. Are these people irrational?
