What's the exact meaning of flying in? Does it mean hopping on a plane or arriving at your destination?
I recently got asked by one of my friends when I'm flying in. Then I just wondered if he meant by when i'm arriving at the airport or hopping on the plane.
any help is appreciated.
Arriving.
I'll be flying in on the 5th and flying out on the 10th.
You fly in - arrive
You fly out- depart
What EXACTLY it means depends on situation.
Obviously at the arrival point they want to know when you arrive.
They may also want to know at the last point they can contact you before you get on the plane. Seriously you need a technical definition?
Did you plan to answer I'm flying in on Tuesday. Flying in Tuesday Morning. Or flying in at 11:24 AM on Flight ABC on Airline XX.
Flying in usually refers to flying in your own plane to the party.
If you need some exact meaning it might depend if you are Pilot or passenger. Airport Host of the Party or the friend picking you up at arrival.
- How do I find dimensions that match the exact airline I'm traveling? I'm planning this europe trip to a bunch of places. During the trip, I use 3 different airlines. Of all of them, i calculated the smallest maximum luggage requirement for a carry on and a personal item. 21 x 15 x 7.8 15 x 11 x 3.9 Maybe i'm looking incorrectly, but for the life of me I can't find baggage online that has the requirements I need. Any advice on where to look, how to look, would be deeply appreciated.
- I will be arriving in the UK at the airport at the early hours of the morning. Is it ok to wait for 8 hours for when my coach leaves? My coach will leave the airport 8 hours after my plane lands at the airport. Is it ok to wait 8 hours in the airport for the coach?
- Are American Airlines carry on restrictions exact? Or linear? I saw online that the restrictions are 22x14x9 but both of the carry ons I have at home are 21x15x9. Does it go by the total inches? Which would be 45 for both. Or will they give me problems because of the bigger width. I'd hate to have to pay the checking fee over an inch.
- Has it ever happened where an arriving plane had to take off immediately because there was no parking space at airport? Is it mandatory that all arriving planes have a parking space available? What IF it were to happen? What would be the solution?
